Korean American Student EmpowermentIn the summer of 1996 at the NKPYC (Nat'l Korean Presbyterian Youth Council) Conference, we saw a pressing need for an emphasis on college ministry. Recognizing that the needs for college students and that of youth are of a different nature, the college members made a choice to form a separate group independent of NKPYC. This group was called NKPCC (Nat'l Korean Presbyterian College Council). In 2001 with a new vision and purpose NKPCC became what is now known as KASE.
